THE EMPTY SPACES OF THE HEART

In our Christian experience, we will all go through times of weakness, doubt, and emptiness. it is in the silent and empty places of our heart that we acknowledge our need and look to God, our provider.

In the midst of our despair, we can pray as David:

"I remembered the old days, went over all you've done, pondered the ways you've worked, stretched out my hands to you, as thirsty for you as a desert thirsty for rain. Hurry with your answer, God!" (Psalm 143:6-7 Message).

'Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing" (Psalm 143:10 NLT).
